Run the report, then use Export › Export to Excel (or Export to PDF where offered). Profit & Loss has To Excel (a CSV file) and PDF; the General Ledger has Download Excel Report and Download PDF Report.
1. Most reports
Run the report, then click Export and Export to Excel for an .xlsx file. Export to PDF appears only on reports that print to PDF, such as the Tax Ledger.
2. Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
To Excel downloads a CSV file that Excel opens. PDF opens Download to PDF (choose Sort by and click Download Report); on the Profit & Loss it is offered when one or two periods are shown.
3. General Ledger, Journals, BAS
The General Ledger has Download Excel Report and Download PDF Report; Journals per Account has an Excel download; the Business Activity Statement has Excel and Download PDF Report.
