Bank Australia appoints nominated representatives for a non-personal account by paper form: the Open Banking data sharing authority for non-individual accounts (BAU795), signed by two directors or officers and returned to Bank Australia for activation. The representative then connects Bank Australia in Exacc as in Connect your bank (bank feeds).

In Exacc: Books › Banking › Bank Feeds

Before you start

  • Each representative is 18 or older, has an email address registered with Bank Australia and is individually registered for Internet Banking before the form is sent.
  • The person who connects in Exacc must be the one the bank lets share the data. They need their own Exacc login with access to the business file and an Australian mobile number in their Exacc profile (in the form +614…).

1. Complete the data sharing authority (BAU795)

Enter the business's customer number and full name, and choose All accounts or list the accounts. For each representative (up to 2 per form) tick Nominate and give their full name, customer number, email and mobile; each representative signs in their own box.

The authority is signed by Director or Officer 1 and Director or Officer 2.

2. Return it to Bank Australia

Bank Australia says to "return the completed form to Bank Australia for activation": email [email protected], post to 50 Moore Street, Moe VIC 3825, or take it to a branch. Bank Australia states no processing time.

3. Then connect in Exacc

Follow Connect your bank (bank feeds): in the business file open Books › Bank Feeds, click Connect a Bank (Connect New Account once the file has connected accounts), search for Bank Australia (Basiq lists it as "mecu Limited (trading as Bank Australia)") and click Approve on Basiq's page.

Bank Australia does not describe its own consent screens; follow its prompts to choose the business's accounts and confirm.

See or stop sharing at Bank Australia

Bank Australia says you can see each provider, and revoke access, in the Bank Australia app or internet banking. It does not give the menu path; ask by secure message or call 132 888.

To remove a representative, send the same form with Revoke ticked for that person.

Former Australian Unity Bank and Qudos Bank customers

Australian Unity Bank transferred its banking business to Bank Australia on 23 November 2025, so its customers follow this guide. Qudos Bank is also part of Bank Australia but has its own steps (call Qudos): see Bankwest, ING and other banks.
